Bastille Day Coktail Party

Alliance Française de Hobart

The Alliance Française Bastille Day cocktail was held at the Hobart Real Tennis Club on Davey Street with over fifty guests enjoying the food provided by Jean-Pascal Patisserie.

As Mrs Dianne Bye, Honorary Consul of France in Tasmania, said in hear toast, we were celebrating Bastille Day at the time when Australian and New Zealand soldiers were marching on the Champs Elysees in Paris for the first time in the French yearly military parade.

The cocktail is one of our fund raising activities for the year and many left with French theme raffle gifts.
Thank you for your support on the occasion and Thank you to Vanessa and Rémy for the major Prizes from the Frank Provost hair salon.

A big ‘Thank You’ also goes to all committee members involved in the organisation of the evening.
It is always a nice occasion to meet new francophiles in Hobart or to catch up with other members of the Alliance Française de Hobart.
